Medical Office Assistant Course

The Medical Office Assistant Course is a 12-week program. The MOA program is a course where students learn to do office work for doctors. They get trained in handling different tasks in a doctor's office. This program lasts for 3 months. When it's done, students can get jobs as medical administrative assistants. They study office skills and do a practicum in a real healthcare setting. This helps them see how a medical office works.

Students learn from both classroom lessons, online and hands-on practice. The practicum is an important part. It lets students use what they've learned in a real job setting. This experience is valuable for understanding day-to-day tasks in a medical office.

Medical Office Assistant Clinical Duties:

  • Patient Onboarding: MOAs play a role in pre-examination processes, which can include gathering preliminary health information or ensuring patients are comfortable and informed.

Arfa M - Medical Reception College is an excellent choice for individuals aspiring to become a Medical Office Assistant (MOA). With its affordable tuition, supportive instructors, self-paced learning, and adaptable schedule, I wholeheartedly endorse this institution. I speak from experience, having recently finished my course there. Just in 3 months

Sherry Anne C. - Taking MOA program here was one of the best choices I've done. Even though the course was only 3 months and mostly done online, it was very comprehensive and everything the instructors teach you are exactly what you need to know when you start working as an MOA. Every lesson was precise and straight to the point, there's no time and resources wasted here.

The instructors are experienced professionals and are always there willing to help you if needed. The 2 week practicum (8hrs/day) was also helpful because you get to experience exactly what is required and expectations of you as an MOA from the patients, the doctors, and your fellow MOA. Trust me, there's a big difference in experiencing a half day to a full day practicum, which gives you more insight on what to expect on a daily basis when starting as an MOA in the field.

Verna Mae K. - I started the college during the covid19 pandemic time, everything was online and the course duration was only 3months! The representatives and the instructors at the Medical Reception College was very helpful and clear to the instructions.
